FAQ
The essentials,

Do I need a card for the free trial?
No. You create your account with your name, your business name, your email and a password. The trial lasts 7 days, has the features of the Growth plan and includes 20 AI credits. During the trial your website is published at your moduara.com address, with Moduara branding and hidden from search engines; you connect your own domain once you choose a plan.
What happens when the trial ends?
We email you a few days before. If you don’t choose a plan, your published websites are paused, but we keep all your content: once you choose a plan they go back online.
What exactly does the AI do?
From your description, logo and photos, it creates the pages, writes the copy and chooses the blocks (price list, team, location…), the colour palette, the typography and the photos. It uses yours first and fills in with stock photos if needed. It can also create new pages, or create and rewrite specific sections from the editor.
Can I change what the AI generates?
Yes, all of it. The result is regular blocks you edit in the visual editor like any other part of your website. The website stays a draft until you decide to publish it, and the AI leaves you a list of things worth checking, such as sample prices, opening hours or reviews.
How long does it take?
A whole website usually takes one to three minutes, a page under a minute and a section between 10 and 40 seconds. After that, how long you spend reviewing it and making it yours is up to you.
How do AI credits work?
A whole website uses 10 credits, a page 3 and a section 1. Every plan includes credits each month (40, 150 or 500), which don’t roll over from one month to the next. If you need more, packs of 50 or 200 credits never expire. Failed generations aren’t charged.
Which languages does the AI write in?
It writes in the language you describe your business in: Spanish, Catalan, English, French, German or Italian. If your plan includes several languages, you can add versions of your pages in other languages and edit them.
Can I use my own domain?
Yes, on every plan. You add your domain in the dashboard, set up the DNS records we give you and the HTTPS certificate is activated automatically. In the meantime, your website stays available at yourbusiness.moduara.com.
Can I see changes before publishing?
Yes. The editor shows an instant preview on desktop, tablet and mobile, and you can create a private link to the draft to show someone before publishing. Your public website doesn’t change until you publish.
What if I publish something by mistake or a release fails?
If a release fails, your website keeps showing the previous version. Every release is saved and you can go back to an earlier one whenever you like. Each page also keeps its latest versions so you can recover specific changes.
Do I need to install or maintain servers?
No. Moduara takes care of hosting, publishing and HTTPS certificates, and serves your website from Cloudflare’s global network. All you need is a browser.
Can I change plan or cancel?
Yes. From the billing dashboard you can change plan or cancel your subscription whenever you like. You can pay monthly or yearly; paying yearly works out to two months free.
